When I received the items I ordered from ecolissa, I was so excited to see what these organic cotton and made in the USA items were going to be like. Right away, I realized that this purchase was definitely worth it. It arrived in a recycled box, and a day after I ordered them.

The first was a the Toggery Alex Tee, it’s backless and incredibly comfortable. I found it appealing for several reasons. For me, I could wear it as a short dress or a shirt which is really great. Also, I could dress it up with earrings and heels, or wear it over a bathing suit (which I did during July fourth weekend!) The material is so soft and comfortable, it makes wearing this piece a complete dream. My sister and I decided to have a sisterly bonding photoshoot,  so the results from that are below (we’ll post more photos later via our tumblr).

Backless!

The second item I ordered was this really great jacket. The Curator by She-Bible Wolf Jacket to be exact. It’s also made from organic cotton and can be worn on a cool summer night, during fall or even in winter with a layer or two. The reason why this jacket is so interesting  is because of the adjustable collar. It is a long layer of fabric that you can adjust to make a layered and really cute scarf-like look. Since I wear scarfs almost every day in the fall and winter, I am completely in love with a jacket that gives that look for me!

This picture above shows the collar with out it being scrunched.

Ecolissa prides itself on being an eco-friendly and vegan boutique.
